Hey guys,

So the other day I went to use my keys to roll down all of my windows in my S40 before I actually got to my car and when I got in noticed that my right front passenger window didnt go down. Then when I used the button to roll it down my self I couldn't just hit the button I had to hold it and when the window was finally "down" you could tell it was going down on an angle because some of the glass still showed. I havent been hit or taken apart my door since I got this car. Does any buddy have some kind of insight on this??

Thanks,

Yes it rolled up but seemed a little laggy. Still doesn't go down automatically though.

Either the motor's weak or there's something providing friction. The auto function will cease to work if the car detects some kind of something it considers an obstruction. Probably need to take the door panel off and grease the slides. You can try chap stick on the track around the window and see if this gives it enough grease....
