I was just in an accident today, A guy failed to yield to on-coming traffic (me and a corvette) and pulled out in front of us, turning left as I was going straight through the intersection. The vette managed to stop, I didnt, I think mainly because my car weighs a *little* more and other factors (like brake size) anywho, I t-boned a guys Avalon going about 20, the damage to my Volvo was a lot less severe than expected, I hit him hard enough to push his car out of my way. His car wasn't quite as fortunate. Here are some pics. The corner marker popped right back in also, so that wasn't damaged, It just yanked out<br>As a final note everyone is fine, and waiting on insurance adjusters to make the final call on whos fault it was. <br><A HREF="http://img248.imageshack.us/i/dsc00686w.jpg/" TARGET="_blank"><IMG SRC="http://img248.imageshack.us/img248/7012/dsc00686w.th.jpg" BORDER="0"></A><br><A HREF="http://img248.imageshack.us/i/dsc00687v.jpg/" TARGET="_blank"><IMG SRC="http://img248.imageshack.us/img248/75/dsc00687v.th.jpg" BORDER="0"></A><br><A HREF="http://img30.imageshack.us/i/dsc00688q.jpg/" TARGET="_blank"><IMG SRC="http://img30.imageshack.us/img30/2862/dsc00688q.th.jpg" BORDER="0"></A><br><A HREF="http://img194.imageshack.us/i/dsc00689m.jpg/" TARGET="_blank"><IMG SRC="http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/2151/dsc00689m.th.jpg" BORDER="0"></A><br><A HREF="http://img193.imageshack.us/i/dsc00690rxm.jpg/" TARGET="_blank"><IMG SRC="http://img193.imageshack.us/img193/6417/dsc00690rxm.th.jpg" BORDER="0"></A>

I am glad because with the age of my car, the insurance people may have just totaled it.

Insurance is a pain in the Butt, His insurance is trying to get ahold of the guy I hit, his phone is disconnected. My insurance will pay for it, if I pay my deductible, which I am not about to do. The shop for his insurance quoted $1311, My insurance adjuster quoted $1025 (they want to fix the bumper instead of replace it) I hate insurance companies, what a time consuming pain in the a$$

Insurance can be a real pain in the butt. At least you are all ok. <p>As for the damage, you are almost looks like it just needs to have the black marks buffed out compared to this car, lol.

Just Heard Back, the other guys insurance is going to pay for it, they reviewed the police report, the other driver did get issued a citation for failing to yield to oncoming traffic. But they had to order the parts from god knows where, and they wont be here till the 22nd, so I have to wait. Its all good, its getting fixed at no cost to me, and I get a rental while its being repaired.

Get the Car back today, Grand total of $1921.56. I am sure glad that I didn't have to pay for it, and in the grand scheme of things it didn't take too long to wrangle the insurance companies, I just had to be tenacious and stay on top of them.

New Update: So I got it back and it was not up to snuff, and the core support was bent. The shop person said "Well we thought it may have been like that before the wreck" I was like YEAH RIGHT! This car was perfect before I wrecked, so I made them fight the insurance company and order me a new Core support. Car should be done the 19th. Grand total for all work: $2874.21
