If your going to do the TDS delivery on your car here is a tip,If you live in a state which doesn't require a front licence plate make sure you get in touch w/the delivery center personally and tell them not to mount the front plate that way you will not have holes drilled in your beautiful new front bumper !some people will want to keep this plate on for a suvenier but I like the clean look of the S60's front end without it besides the mount they use is cheesyI requested on my initial order not to mount the plate and I brought tie wraps with me to mount the plate to the intercooler grill temporarily.I asked for a new bumper and they said they would see what they could do but i'm not gonna hold my breath.we shall see apr.8th when the ship bringing my car comes in.Anyway my point is,get confirmation from the FDS and they won't mount the plate but you must mount it temporarily to drive it there.good luck Rich.

It does not matter what state you live in. When you drive the car in Europe, you are part of that traffic system and your car is under the European Union laws and regulations which stipulate that all vehicles (of any type except motorcycles) are required to carry identical plates front and rear. Even items like vanity plates are not allowed! Here in the US, we have been spoiled with various personal freedoms such as these. Not there...
Yannis

In my case I only drove the car in europe for 4 days and my intention was to install the front plate "temporarilly"to the front of the car, that way I would comply with their traffic laws and would not destroy my bumper!
