Any input on this? I have room in the garage, but it's not necessarily the most friendly place to do "fluid-based" DIY's.

What have you guys paid at indy mechanics for this?

Its not a difficult procedure. Heck, I did it! Jiffy Lube charges soimewhere around $240 for a flush & refill.

Pete, I've done both my wagons in 40 minutes, it takes longer to set up the containers to collect the discharged fluid ...that's 20 minutes per car...with the help of my 9 year old son!!! DIY JHW http://********************/smile/emthup.gif

Flushing is easy enough. Dispensing the used fluid legally takes more work, since most collection points don't take tranny fluid (knowingly).

My town has quarterly HazMat collection days. Check with yours, maybe they do something similar.

Thanks guys. I cant access the Matthews volvo site from work, will check it out later.

My buddy has a shop, it might just be easier to head over there and take care of it since he has a drain bucket and a big fluid container out back. I'll just have to wait a few weeks.
