Hey gang,...I recently stumbled upon a 1984 242 w/ 88k on the clock, original owner, completely stock,
and just this side of pristine,..draw backs, its an automatic, its beige, cloth int, well, it is a DL.
I'm planning on talking to the mechanic who has been maintaning it since new,. but at this point the lady who owns it is looking for an offer,..I'm thinkin $2000. maybe $2300. because I'm a Brick enthusiast.
I should note that my current daily driver is a '76 245 wagooon, in stock Volvo orange w/ 207K on the
odometer, just relaced timing belt,H2o pump, runs perfect and is a blast to drive as a standard trans w/ a new clutch. So the question,..Whats a good offer? The '84 242 is not a collector, but a rare find none the less.
Thanks for considering Rich

If you buy this car how will it fit into your needs?

Me? I'd offer $2,500 then eBay the car immediately for $3,500 min bid.
