...and ye shall receive. So sayeth I about having the dealer adjust my waste gate. I just took it in for my 3rd oil change (11,000 miles), and I mentioned I had heard something about this. Nod, wink, Bob's your uncle and my ride is MUCH quicker off the line. Now I really need to get to the dyno and track...yee haw!

It is also something they will do for older cars to increase lost boost pressure over time. But you didn't hear it from me...just like I didn't here it from him.
Capeche?

I am pretty naive when it comes to stuff like this, but then again they could just be placating me. Either way, it does feel a bit more responsive off the line. This is also the first oil change I've had since the BSR tune was installed, so that might have something to do with it. He also might have done a few full turns and just played it down so I don't get him in trouble. BTW, thanks for the turbo pics. I take it the little red star/arrow is where the WG rod is located?

Re: Ask... (darylkaiser30)

They have been doing this on the turbo motors for a long time now. The magic number used to be 2 1/2 turns but it really varies from car to car.
