Hi All,
Just got the car back form the dealer after they replaced the entire rear differntial/drivetrain.
I noticed on my report that they "removed AOC Clutch and cleaned, installed AOC Clutch with NEWPINAL Drive unit, replaced Final Drive"
I would greatly appreciate if someone could explain what these items are and it would be extra awesome if you could explain why they might have replaced/cleaned these items.
Thanks in advance!!

Re: AOC Clutch, Newpinal Drive Unit, Final Drive?? (so_calR)

AOC = Active On-demand Coupling, AKA your Haldex.
Final Drive = rear differential.
Not sure what a NEWPINAL drive unit is.
And why did you need your rear diff replaced?
As for the AOC cleaning, there is a TNN whereby the pressure / temp sensor can get fouled and cause you to lose your AWD function.

I had an oil leak at the back, most likely a seal, but the dealer told me it was an "internal leak" and they needed a whole new differential. My guess, they didn't quite know what to do so they installed a whole new one.
Here are my initial posts on the whole thing.
1.) when I first saw the leak: http://forums.swedespeed.com/zerothread?id=122015
2.) after I took it in: http://forums.swedespeed.com/zerothread?id=122716

Can you scan the receipt with P/N's? That would help.
Hint, copy your receipt, take a sharpie to the sensitive spots, copy THAT and it's invisible.

Here's the receipt with the work done. Thanks for the help on this, SS is such a better resource than the dealer...I asked them when they were done what went on, why the clutch was removed (no one mentioned it was the Haladex) and all I got from them was a strict reading from the receipt about what was done...like I can't read or something...grrr

So what they are telling you they did was unbolted the whole unit, separated the Haldex, cleaned it, bolted up a new rear differential and put the unit back in.
