I've always wanted a lift but with 9' celling in new garage, not really viable.

Costco (Canada) has QuickJack on sale currently for C$999...

I'm probably going to get one. Just wondering if anyone has used one with their XC90?

which one are you looking at? I hope its the 7000lb one.

I wouldnt trust the 5000lb for the xc90. I think the xc90 weighs more than that.

you're right. I was confusing curb weight with gross weight.

even with tall blocks you're getting to 21 inches of lift. So that leaves you 10 inches of lift at maximum after getting it to the lift points. figure 6 inches of that just to get tires off the ground... that doesn't really give you much.

I love the height of the xc90 for many reasons, especially not needing ramps or jacks to do an oil change. But sometimes it can be pain like when you need to remove wheels, especially when you don't have a jack that can lift high enough.

Ordered two sets, so 4 blocks total. May not be necessary at all and might be too big but I can cut them down if needed.

I wonder if these blocks can be used with a floor jack on the factory jack spots. I would assume its safe.
