Barry Sharp has one - see if you can track him down for an opinion. I've been in BMWs and Mercs with similar screens and they are quite effective.
I wonder how much this screen costs?
- Tryg

I have the Volvo shades for the rear doors and the rear storage area. The shades for the rear doors are a snap (literally) to install. They have clips that you push down between the window and the door panel. The rear storage were a little more difficult but not bad. I think I had to remove the interior side panels to install them. The shades are good quality and mine are still in great shape after almost three years.

I have em on my s80.... they are effective against sun blockage but not as effective as tinting.
You would think that volvo would do what BMW and Mercedes Benz did and install a motor to raise and lower the sun screen....
But yes, back to the topic, it helps especially out here in Texas

I've got them on the back door windows of our V70R, with non-tinted windows. They do a very good job of keeping the sun off of our daughter and out of her eyes. I didn't get ones farther back in the car as we don't have the 3rd row seat. I'm happy with them, I wish Saab made them for our 9-5 as well.

Have them (2nd and 3rd row seats) and they are very good.
You can actualy drive with them up not like all the aftermarket ones.
My kid loves them and she lover raise them when she wants.
A good place to buy is volvopartspeople.com.
Installing them is a 10 minutes job for 2nd row and a 30 minutes for the trunk. They came with instructions.
