I mean, there isn't a better means to track than what your dealer has. When it gets to the US it has to go through customs which is out of anyones control. Then it gets picked up for transport, and most of the time we loose sight of the vehicle from the time it is eligible to be picked up at port to when it arrives at our dealer. We try to make educated guesses, but beyond seeing what Volvo tells us, it's still just a guess. We get given the expected dates from Volvo. It's not overly specific or precise. I know the pain of waiting though! I ordered a car when I was in Iraq, got home and the car was at the dealership but the paperwork wasn't. After waiting months to get my car, I couldn't drive it yet. Since it was through the overseas military program they couldn't just do a power of attorney for the MSO/CO title work either.
