I am probably going to be getting the OEM subwoofer pretty soon but am needing to know how to install it, and am hoping there is some sort of installation guide out there. Any of you guys who have access to the VADIS or whatever it is called have this by chance?

I have searched through the forum a lot but can't seem to find any link or instructions on the install.

I know that the OEM system is a rip off and that there are better sounding sub options out there, but I have a small enough trunk as it is and I am not looking to beat any one in the "my system is louder than yours so I'm cooler" department
. Just looking for a decent upgrade to my system. The price I would be paying is pretty reasonable for a used one, and I know I will need to go to the dealer to get the software updated. I would prefer to have it installed completely when I drive up to the stealership to get the update.
Any help would be appreciated!

EDIT: I called myswedishparts and they directed me to a site that has the install instructions.

If anyone has any pointers that would still be nice, thanks!

Re: (Vash13)

Not a sealed deal yet so I gotta keep quiet until it is mine.
It will be around $330 plus the cost of the software download. I am using some money from my tax refund. I was going to get a tune but I figure this would be safer for keeping my insurance rates down because a sub is much less likely to get me a ticket.
The tune will come in the summertime...

Re: Anyone have the instructions on installing the OEM subwoofer? (carreragt7)

I have a bunch of pictures I took of my OEM subwoofer set-up including wiring and so-on. I can post them if you think they might be of some use. Also my dealer gave me a wiring diagram for the fiberoptic and power cords for the OEM amp, i have since thrown it away, but it wouldnt hurt to ask ur dealer for a copy

Dude, I installed mine in a little over an hour. The instructions were pretty straightforward from the dealer, but if you just look at the parts and the places that they go, you should be able to figure it out. Any questions, go ahead and post and I can try to help.
