I am getting my car painted next month, and am considering getting the moldings painted body color. Anyone done this or know someone who has. Pictures would be great.
Re: Anyone Have Pics Of An 850 With The Moldings Painted Body Color? (yellow95)
Haven't seen this, but just an opinion, I think the dark mouldings give the 850 its distinctive look. The S70 came w/ painted mouldings & has its own look. Try restoring them w/ an over the counter product ($7-$8 & IPD sells one also) before painting. It might surprise you how good it looks. If not, clean them very well & paint away!

4u2nv or somebody had it done.. i've seen it here in sf redone with the laser blue on a whole 850 wagon. just make sure the plastic bits are cleaned and primed properly... some of the pieces i saw on the repainted laser blue wagon was chipped and flaking..

That would be me!!
Yes..I totally agree....all yellow looks terrible. (i'm working returning my all yellow R back to it original state....got the front bumper cover (thanks to JRL)...as well as all the side trim molds)...so I'm almost there.
Just realize if you do it...it takes alot to reverse the decision
