I signed up for AOL, ordered my goodies:
*10 CD Changer
*Premium parcel shelf speakers
*Sunblind, rear window
*Luggage compartment mat
*First Aid Kit
*Rear armrest table

Printed out my certificate to be presented to the dealer...and promptly cancelled my 1-hour-old membership

Do not, repeat do not, get the rear seat table...it is truly a pice of sh*t and redundant if you opt for the rear cup holders. Unfortunately, I am going to have to pay to get mine removed...the only flaw on a great car, and a great deal (aol).

I also got the shade, changer, first aid kit and mud flaps...they are all good.

p.s. I picked up my T5 manual yesterday and love it. Performance wise, all I can report so far is that it does a good job in the annoying, prolific, and ubiquitous Chicago snow and ice. If we ever get a thaw, I'll be able to really drive it.

Good luck

Got mine! The AOL offer was a good deal.
Here's what I got and why: 10-CD player(now
I have 14 CD capacity coupled w/ 4 in Audio
Max system-wow!), sun blind (a real cool
addition, like a manual version of the one
one MB C320, pull up and hooks clip nicely
into place), trunk mat (nice item to leave
in permanently or put in when desired, this
is a heavy rubber mat very well constructed
and will certainly protect trunk floor well),
Rear mud flaps (functional and look great
on car--not too large and obnoxious), chains
(read on another board that they were well made perfectly fit S60, got them because I
sometimes drive to Colo in winter), First
Aid kit(because I was running out of prefer-
ences--I had heard the rear table was lousy,
this kit has the essentials and is in a
vinyl case with Volvo label, it will tuck
away nicely in trunk. There you have it.
I might mention that I passed on the shelf
speakers because I did not need to equal
of further enhance(?) the Audiomax sound
which is terrific. If I had the standard
sound, I'd go with the speakers.

Not sure. What sound system do you have?
413, 613, or 803? My car, which I bought on the lot came with the 803 Audiomax system
with a $1200 added price. It sounds so good that I have given no thought to upgrading it
nor do I think there is an upgrade. There
may be an upgrade for the 413 or 613 with
regard to shelf speakers. I have read no
clarification on any board as to a correct
answer. Indy is pretty good with this stuff.

I am getting the stock audio system that comes with the S60T, did not get the surroung. On my C70, did not get the surround sound, but found out that the speakers for both the standard and the surround are the same. This may be the same for the S60T.

First, for those of you with the (USA) HU-803 AudioMax Premium Sound System, there is no possible upgrade of any kind. The AOL deal will not benefit you at all in regards to the hatshelf speakers. You have the best audio system availible for the S60 with Harmon-Kardon premium speakers. Although, in Europe they do offer a 4x75 (325 watt total including center speaker) watt amplifier as compared to the 4x50 (225 watt total including center speaker) watt amplifier that is in the USA version.

Second, for those with the HU-613, the AOL deal will benefit you. The HU-613 comes standard with two high performance 8" bass/mid-range/treble speakers. The AOL deal will upgrade you to two premium 8" bass/mid-range and two 1" treble. (Deducing this information)

Third, for those of you with the HU-413, the AOL deal will benefit you the most. The HU-413 audio system does not include hatshelf speakers at all. The AOL Hatshelf option will give you two high performance 8" bass/mid-range/treble speakers.

The information about AOL upgrade for the HU-613 and HU-413 is very hard to come by and a little sketchy. The only real way of knowing what kind of upgrade you have gotten with the AOL deal is to actually look at the speakers in the hat-shelf. They will either be two high performance coaxial 8" bass/mid-range/treble speakers or two premium performance 8" bass/midrange & two 1" treble speakers. The definitive answer is out there somewhere! I hope that this information helps!

Once on AOL access the Volvo site. You should see a message there for AOL members. Follow the directions..."build your car"..."choose your options"...and print the sheet to be brought in to the dealer
