About two months ago(prior to the BSR PPC) the car on occasion (1-2times per month)would start and die. Then on the 2nd attemp the car would turn over for a few seconds and then start and have a rough idle. With my foot feathering the gas it would run smooth after about 30 seconds. If I do not feather the gas it dies again. Now in the last 3 days it has done the same thing 2 times. With and without the PPC program. Any thoughts???? All help is much appreciated, Rick

Only on cold days, but I pull the choke a little til the carbs warm up, then she idled fine.<p>Never happened on my R though.

according to volvo service, the pump was over-amping (vapor lock?) and fried fuel managment control and pump. Crappy returnless design. The rail has a threaded port for a regulator, and I wonder what would the diagnostics detect if I put a real pump with reg. and return, and bypassed the fmic.
