Re: Any specific gauge pod for Blitz DCII? (xenophobic)

No need for a pod with those, see what blot did in the other posts. Small L bracket with double sided tape.

Re: Any specific gauge pod for Blitz DCII? ("R" Kelly)

personally, I think the blitz gauge looks AWESOME - excellent match to the stock gauges....but it would look the best on our car if it were inside some pod or gauge cup that looked like it was a more clean install. sticking the gauge on a metal bracket and sticking it on the car works, but doens't look as good as a true gauge pod.
the problem is getting a gauge pod that fits our car and looks cool. no one makes one... i looked into it a while back but gave up on it due to costs.
kai's setup on the sunroof was the coolest....i wish someone would mas market that with dual 52mm or 60mm gauge holes....i'd buy it yesterday...

I think this looks very clean, the gauges themselves have quite a bit of detail on them, includind the sides and backing. You can't see the back of the gauges, so doesn't matter what that looks like IMO. Also, they are 60mm, so you couldn't really mount them in a pod/cup on the steering column, they would stick up too much and block too much of the cluster.

That leaves A-pillar (airbag conflict) or center console speaker area. I think they are too big for a Kai type set-up in overhead light area (didn't he use 52mm?).
