This is a huge fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House with a Porsche focus but other car folks are more than welcome. Below is an email from the owner John Dixon just after last years event. Let me know if you plan to attend and maybe we can meet up for a mini "R"evolt

Quote »

Dear Friends,
The Kreuzers SpeedFest was an overwhelming success! 2005 featured nine events over a four-day period. More than we had ever done before.
Thursday night's affair with racing legend Vic Elford was a sell out. He enamored the crowd with his stories and conversation. Often referred to as "Quick Vic" for his driving prowess, Vic's wit was even quicker. He stayed late and autographed many items, delighting the faithful, including his first ever urinal divider. Vic even donated to the cause with some of the proceeds of items that were sold on his behalf!
Friday night's Kreuze-In at Quaker Steak & Lube saw even more cars than last year. The beverages were cold and the food was hot. The McWagon made its debut there to the kids' delight.
Saturday featured the Taj Museum Walk with almost three -hundred visitors. The Auto Cross at Wright State took place at the same time. Rare cars and even rarer participants(forgot their sunscreen) had a blast running the course. A group of enthusiasts came from Chicago, Cleveland areas to show their stuff.
The evenings' gala set records for attendance and giving of the green. The Egyptian outdid himself again this year with his one -off creations for the Kreuzers live auction.
The Taj Road Warrior Tour started the day off early Sunday morning. Just under a hundred cars lumbered through the countryside on a 105 mile drive. They joined their counterparts at the Carillon Park in Dayton, Ohio. There they numbered over two-hundred and fifty unique and classic cars of all shapes, sizes and colors. Northland Porsche even brought Porsche's $450,000 supercar for display, a Carrera GT.
Many trophies were handed out to many great cars. The Longest Distance Trophy went to a Porsche 911 that came all the way from San Francisco, California.
That afternoon, kids were there to hand paint a rare 1979 911 Turbo with just 15,000 miles on its' odometer. It sat right next to the McWagon. It was also hand printed by the little ones.
When all was said and done the 2005 Taj Kreuzers SpeedFest raised $72,126 for the The Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Miami Valley Region.
We couldn't have done it your help and support. Thank you all for making a difference in the lives of those at a time when they need it the most!
John Dixon
