I think hid fog lights would put out more light than the led. Bright led bulbs get so hot that they need heatsinks and cooling fans build into their bases

I used some that are very similar, well worth the $$$! The factory xenons offer very poor light, the hid's are super temperamental and there is no good place under there to hide the ballasts out of the elements. These make the HID's a great option. 600 lumens isn't a ton of light, my headlights are putting out 8000 lumens (white light dont confuse with HID lighting charts)

Ou2mame is correct they do get very very hot, (the bulbs don't, the bases do) I wouldn't use them for extremely long periods of time. I recently replaced my H11 headlight bulbs with the LED's after messing the HID's for years. I have never been happier, the look amazing. Plug and play, and no bulb out warning!!
