Hey folks,
I'm a newbie here and love all cars especially Volvos, (my mom had an old cherry red 82 240 coupe for 10 years), I'm just wondering if there has been any recent news on release dates and features for the new S60R. I searched but all the info is a few months old, thx a million.

Hey, my good friend from Sweden called me about something else but I asked her about definitive release plans for the Rs...She told me that we should see them right after the Holidays, right at the beginning of 2003. So here it is!quote:

I have not heard anything new, the same 'ole' stuff really: 6-speed manual, 5-speed Geartronic, around $45,000, 0-60 in 5.4 seconds, 300 hp, Active-Suspension, Haldex AWD etc.
The S60R will be shown at Paris in September and the V70R will be shown at Tokyo in January from what I hear, with production orders starting at week-10.
