Is the backfire during the cold engine boost? Back fire is normal for me during the first few boosts of the AM start when the engine is still cooler.

Backfire usually happens to me when I shift quickly while under boost. I like it

Horrible in My opinion.. i guess it is more like a small clunck, BUT very noticable.. Even my wife commented on it.. haha..
anyone familiar with a lovejoy coupling?? if so, when they go bad (or too much play) the two shaft prongs hit each other and make a very similar sound..
Thanks for the input!!

Howdy all,
So the problem was the P/S front axle bolt needed to be ajusted as well as some form of sleeve put in.
I am super aggrivated with Clayton Volvo of Knoxville, tn. I go to pick up my car and there is a fee of over $100.. I guess the repairs were not covered under warrenty and they did not call me and ask permission to repair, just went and did it.. This may seem small but everytime i go there , i have a problem with them.. Last time my P/S seat was covered in dirty hand prints from the mechanic, and they forgot to put together some of the interior after the repair.. WTH??
I never had issues with the dealer in San diego..
Ok , just needed to vent..
take care..
