There are a lot of major items hanging out there on this service. Has anyone done this service yet? I'm interested in what you paid and if you did everything that it said to do. For one thing it calls for changing the alternator coupler and most of the aux belt parts.

I'm at 101k now, so I'm curious about this too.

The alt coupler and serpentine belt are definitely DIY-able. You have to pull a bunch of junk off of the engine to get at everything (battery box, intake including the manifold, a few mounting brackets) but it's not as terrible as it might look. Anyone who does it should take a hard look at the water pump before ordering parts since you'll be doing most of the tear-down required to replace it, anyway. (I don't think I would go as far as recommending that you replace it with no signs of failure, though. They seem pretty robust.)
