I bought the HRE 19" C20 wheels that were in the for sale section a couple of weeks ago http://forums.swedespeed.com/zerothread?id=120880.
I received them and I am now ready to get them refinished.
I am having trouble deciding on the color/polish/no polish. I need someone(s) that is adept in photoshop different wheel options on a blk V70r.
Some options that I am considering:
-Polished rim w/ matte Black ctr
-polished rim w/ titanium/grey center
-PCoated titanium rim w/ matte black center or reversed???
-polished rim w/"shadow chrome" center (e39 M5 wheel color)I had this on my M5, 3pc schnitzer wheels with this combo and really liked it .
open to suggestions.....this is not a daily driver, my wife drives it mostly on weekends or special occasion trips. Since its ready for tires soon (17k miles) I figured I couldnt pass up on these wheels and get 19" tires as well.
here are some pix of the original owners wheels.
Re: Another wheel thread ---Photoshop help (FRANCIS)

I have some Iforged Seneka's that look like those that I'm having redone in black with a white lip. Just wanted to do something a little different but I'll post pics when they're done. How about black with a gold lip, or a gold with a polished lip. There's a black V70R in some of the post with gold Work VS-XX's and it looks hot but I don't know what post it's in. Try to find it and check it out though. Good luck

I generally don't like black wheels, but those look nice. especially on that color car.

They need refinished/repaired. I may leave them as is, polish/black but with matte finish. I think I want something different, there is a lot of wheels out there in polished/black. I really like the look of the Titanium Forgelines on "ZEKE's" FG V70R. I'm not sure if i want it on my black car. I Have seen the pix of the gold centered wheel, I like it, but not for me.

HEy Tim, here is the link to the wheels in that color scheme. Although the centers arent matte, you get the idea....
http://forum.e46fanatics.com/s...demon

Re: (B.G.)

That looks good, I am pretty sure thats what I will go with. I am also considering a brushed lip with a very light titanium/grey tinted clear over the brushed with the matte black center.

I just got them and I am having them refinished and repaired. Maybe the original owner can chime in. THese are high end and assuming high quality at $1400/wheel. I dont know what you have but there are many wheels that look similar to HRE. are yours forged? you could have a bad tire?if you havnt tried yet, rotate them to see if the vibration dissapates or moves.
