So, I'm going to be getting rear shocks soon, but don't quite have the $$$ to do fronts AND rears (and the fronts seem ok for now--but I'm sure that will change right after I get new rears).

I'm thinking of getting the Bilstein HD for the rears and Bilstein for the fronts later. However, I've been reading about the Koni yellows and now I'm in a debate with myself. In the future, I do plan to get 18" wheels, and will probably have it lowered modestly (or none at all depending on how the 18" fit)

So, if there is a possibility of lowering in the future, would I be best to go with Koni or Bilstein.

Just a reminder, I have a FWD.

You'll be fine either way. I would give a slight nod to the Koni as they are adjustable. You will be able to "tune" them somewhat for different springs & wear.

you're lucky you don't have AWD where OEM is the only alternative...
