Hi All,<br>I've been obsessed with getting an R for a couple weeks now, and have a local dealership looking for CPO-worthy 06s and 07s while I try to sell my audi a4. I had told my salesperson to search for MTs only, but opened it to the 06-07 GT as well. Yesterday I discovered this forum, and the angle gear discussions...holy wow. I'm impressed with the problem-solving skills on display here.<p>Anyway, I'm considering focusing my search on 06-07 GTs only, to get the better bevel and collar gears. Here in MI the chances of spinning the fronts with the rears hooked up are pretty high...it's gonna happen. Now I have some burning questions, I THINK I've done all the required reading and I need to go to work now!<p>For those folks who have had angle gear issues, or are worried about it: looking back, had you known about this issue (assuming you didn't), would you still get your R? How immune to the angle gear issue is the TFSC80 really? I really don't like auto trans as a rule, does this one seem to be pretty bulletproof? Seems like a lot of people are running high HP through it, any common troubles? I searched, but my searcher is tired so I might have missed something. Thanks in advance.
