So today was the day that I finally got around to tinting the car. Went to Tint King in Billerica (Brian) and they did an excellent job. Did go legal in the front (45% - which with factory tint is clsoe to 35% = law in Mass), and 35% on rear doors and back (which will read 29% = not really legal).
Here are some pics:

In the last picture you can also see that I stopped by the Lou's custom exhaust to have the resonator removed. For those of you that have not yet done it - DO IT! Very subtle but excellent improvement. Zero drone on the highway. For the money it's hard to beat....

This is the wife's car and I didn't tell her about the resonator removal - we'll see if she even notices!
Lastly - while at Tint King a nice looking S60R showed up - turns out it was P0cket Penguins - small world! Nice car dude - but 16k miles - start driving a little!

I assume that's not perfectly legal in IL and that you are taking a chance? Any picture?

I just realized that you don't have the orange antennae thing in the rear window where is it? With my tinted windows all you see is this hideous orange window. My car is an '05 so maybe they added in '05?
DAn

Red '04s really look nice - I still like the black trim on red and the tint really helps with these cars.

They are still there, but very thin of course. On the driver side rearmost window there are the two little orange dots and then a few thin wires (sim in thicknes to the defroster lines). Very hard to see unless you're a foot away.
Esp in red since red makes the car look quite large otherwise.
Your wheels are stunning by the way!
I have the 5% tint on the middle and rear sections, which is perfectly legal in IL...
The 35% on the front is another story.....

If you have insurance and tint shack doubles up as a chop shop on weekends you may getting an 07 soon
Nice work, i like the dark tint with your red. Kinda reminds me of Stendhal's "Le Rouge et Le Noir".
