If you have a hard failure, click on the poll choice that reflects your vehicle's chassis #.

If your angle gear was replaced due soley to leakage/seepage (not a hard failure), select "replaced due to leakage/seepage."

If your angle gear had a hard failure and exhibited leakage/seepage, report the hard failure.

I am on my third angle gear, car now has 44K miles of highway driving on it. I don't track it or drag it, so I don't think its driving style that affects it.

It is the gearset that drives the propshaft back to the Haldex and rear axle. No angle gear, no RWD

I had mine replaced for weepage in the S60R # 545427 or earlier category, but no outright failure yet.

I don't see this option, possibly because I already voted. Perhaps a new poll is needed if there are new options added?

I haven't had that issue yet but I'll check. I've got almost 38K miles on it and it seems to be good. My last six on the VIN starts w/ a 3. I guess this was one of the first V70Rs.

In Nevada, to qualify under our lemon law it would have to be a new car, in the shop at least 5 times in first 18 months, or in the shop more than 30 days in first 18 months.
