What do you all think of these? I must admit, I love the way they look! I think that they are a really nice compliment to the V70 guages!
They are from Heico Sportiv...

-Drew

Hey Drew -
Certainly I can find the picture on their site, but heck if I can find the price or anything else. How did you find it there? My German is just a tad rusty, so navigating isn't as easy as it could be.
*** never mind, I found 'em. ***
Let me know when anybody finds a discount importer of this stuff
Thanks,
- Darell
[This message has been edited by darell (edited 03-05-2001).]

I don't think that they have a US distributor yet, but I am sure you can get parts directly from Heico Sportiv, just like S.A.M.
$93 USD isn't all that bad, but I wonder how much heart-ache you have to go through to put those trim rings on. It seems like you basically have to take the whole dashboard apart and pull out the guage cluster.
Those video screens on the backs of the seat headrests are pretty sweet. I bet those cost a pretty penny!
-Drew

You are right actually, Coyote Motorsports does import stuff from S.A.M., but what I meant was that you can get parts directly from S.A.M., without having a US company that imports parts.
There is someone in the S60 forums that is getting lowing springs directly from S.A.M., without going through Coyote Motorsports. I wonder if Heico Sportiv will let you do this as well. Coyote Motorsports parts seem really expensive. I wonder if it is just cheaper to get the parts directly from the manufacturer (S.A.M.).
-Drew

Hey Rob, did you see how differently the arm-rest storage bin is configured in the shot you linked?
- Darell

Yup...
I wonder if the extreme angle of the shot is creating an illusion... meaning the armrest bin might be the same, but the the space forward is set-up differently than here in the US... meaning no drink holders(I don't see any)? Maybe it's shaped for those new ergonomic rectangular beer steins

I'm the guy from the S60 forum that ordered direct from S.A.M. I first spoke with Coyote but soon discovered that they're not a distributor but rather simply acting as a middleman. I inquired about a few S.A.M. parts and all would have been a direct ship from Sweden. So, at least for the parts I was asking about, they obviously were not stalking them. Maybe I'm missing something (enlighten me) but at this point I just don't see the "value-add" that Coyote Motorsports is providing relative to S.A.M. parts.
Following the directions on the S.A.M. site I printed out the order form and faxed it in along with my credit-card number. I ordered my springs late on a Wednesday evening and they were on my doorstep (SoCal) four days later. Shipping for the 24lbs. springs was only $12.00.
In closing I should add that S.A.M. was very responsive (1-2days) to my numerous e-mails I sent w/questions. And they were answered in English.
Hope this helps any potential S.A.M. customers.
