Is anybody having a problem with getting dents in their metal door trim on a T5 from the seatbelts retracting like rockets if you're not careful? My wife has managed to ding both driver and passenger door trim thus far.....

Thanks

That stinks. I'd think the other thing you have to watch out for are scrapes from keys and rings. As you reach over for the doof handle, it's probably easy to do.

I know what you're talking about. I haven't gotten any dents to the aluminum trim yet... but I got a serious welt (a small puncture, actually) on the leather above it. Argh!!! And the car is only a couple of weeks old.

Now I am very careful when I disengage the seat belt.

Oh, I was thinking of converting my car over to the aluminum. Maybe now I shouldn't. I was on the fence anyway, but if it damages easily, maybe I'll just keep the trim I have, even if it isn't all that perty!
