hello guys.....
i want to know why a torsion moment test/ torsion test is conducted on alloy wheel rims?

? i mean what is the significance of conducting the test.??which conditions it is going to simulate???
i will be very happy if any one provide me the information on dis???

Consider the force applied during hard cornering and how it might fracture the spokes of an allow wheel.

The pix below shows my V70R at speed on a track under severe cornering. Note the tire distortion, the wheel is getting a good work out too.

My then track only wheels had tape on spokes to help me spot left and right when swapping.
