Why don't you throw on some beefed up endlinks to complete the "perfect" suspension you've got going there w/ the new shocks, sways and brace?

The more I drive it the more it now feels like my old 99 T5 which was one of the all time best cars, period.

Now it's really done.
Fixed the squeak/groan in the new steering rack and installed new Conti Extreme Contacts, 215/45/17's.
Also installed new front pads as the off brand pads the previous owner installed were wrong, squeaked and were driving me NUTS!
I also forgot how well these Conti's work with 850's and S70's, nice handling, smooth and QUIET
The Konis provice a much smoother ride while providing the same excellent shock action as a Bilstein Touring.
If you want to be a maschochist, be my guest and install Bilstein HD's, I have. They lasted all of a week before either my kidneys or the car started to rattle apart
This R literally looks, feels and drives like a brand new car
I'm now convinced that after all my combinations that I've installed on this and several S70s that THIS is the best for all around everything, at least for our very rough roads:
850's and S(or V)70's
7" or 7.5" x17 wheels. 215/45/17 Conti Extreme Contacts
ipd sway bars and Koni (Yellow) shocks. Re: All finished now (JRL)

See, now you know what my wife's S70 feels like. Did the yellow konis, IPD sways, lowering springs, and the works... Wow! It's on a rail in contrast to the OEM setup.
Too bad the konis are soo damn expensive though, wanted to do the same for my C70 but had to roll with the TCs for now. But hey, I'm still young enough to take the bumps for a few more years...
Glad to hear that the car is nearly done. It's only a matter of time before you do an 18T turbo upgrade with ECU and injectors... The itch is there, just hiding behind your Ford Pickup!
Cheers,
Prospero
