Swedespeed is missing out on an excellent opportunity to capitalize on the popularity explosion of SAAB going forward. SAABnet sucks and to absolutely ignore the other swedish car company is stupid. This site was started two years ago and still nothing happening with regard to SAAB, shame.<P>How's that for a broiling first post?

Glog I am with you on this one. I currently have two Volvos in my garage but were I in the market right now the 9-3 would be right at the top of my list. It is a great car and although it may not push the safety not aspect as much as Volvo, I feel they are just as safe. <P>In fact, with the departure of Reitzle from Ford, I would be more worried about Ford having more influence over Volvo than GM does over Saab. I think Lutz sees that Saab is the gem of GM and will continue to treat it as such.
I think that Saab should become a part of the site. It never hurts to share with other manufacturers from the same country. Increased publicity of this site is also a big plus. I say to approach Saab with an open mind and see what they can offer. You never know...and if Saab isn't all it's cracked up to be...then we'll off 'em! <IMG SRC="http://www.swedespeed.com/ubb/wink.gif"><P>IMHO, of course...<P>Prospero

This site is called "Swedespeed" and a SAAB is Swedish. The make should be included here I would think. Seems fair to me. I love rolling up next to a newer SAAB on the freeway around here. Volvo's and SAAB's are very rare cars indeed. Love the small production numbers.<P>

Dolp, even I fell for that one Michael. I forgot that guy had that site. Spelled Swede wrong though.<P>As for Saab, if we did it, it'd be a separate section of the site most likely.<P>Thanks for the compliment on all of our sites. We're going to try to expand quite a bit over the next year.
George, wasn't it a letter from Volvo that mentioned "sweedspeed" that was supposed to mean this site, but actually led to the Saab site because of the misspelling? I recall spotting the error a long time ago, but I don't remember the exact circumstance.<P>BTW, no, I didn't make that "other" sweedspeed site.<P>
