So I think my old alarm siren unit killed my battery. I replaced the siren and thought all was fine, but I didn't drive my car for 2 weeks and went to open it and as soon as I hit the unlock button on my fob the alarm siren started going off. No response from the remote, unlocked with the key, got in, no interior lights, nothing when I tried to crank it.

The alarm goes off for 10-15 seconds, stops for 10-15 seconds, then goes off again. How do I get it to stop? It seems to have stopped for now, but worried it'll start going off again.

Or you just have an old battery that couldn't hold its charge for two weeks. Letting your car sit for a while is often a great way to find our your battery was on its last legs.

Yup, very well could have been, though the failed battery in the siren unit trying to charge off the main battery probably didn't help...

Seems like the siren has stopped for now. Battery recommendations welcome.

Double check you have the right car. There might be a neighbor with the same color S60R having the same problem.
