I tryed a search for this but came up empty..my 2004 S60R with 60,000 miles started to rumble a little yesterday so I called my dealer and found that you must buy from converter back from Volvo for 2160.00 dollars wow
so I thought I'd try the best available aftermarket...so far only found TME and if did it right comes in at about 1000. cdn.plus freight which I hear can be a lot...so just looking for input into what you guys might recommend..also I have ipd stage 1 ecu upgrade , cold air kit and K&N filter and today did a permanent boost gauge install...a Autometer pro series in a cup and dash mounted left side thanks for any input Bill

Re: aftermarket exhaust (laundrypers)

Try Eurosport tuning, they are Canadian so should save you a few shipping dollars.
Viva performance, and Evolve also sell cat backs for your car
Thare are a few more but I cannot recall their names right now

I have the EuroSport exhaust on my car. I love it, it's not over-the-top and gives the extra tone without ruining the image of the car.
If you're looking for performance, you'll get more out of a downpipe than an exhaust. Of course you can't go wrong doing both!
A cheap option for the time being, if you can't decide on an exhaust, you can get your resonator chopped out and have straight pipe welded in - usually for a good price. It'll prevent potential damage to your drivetrain, and give you some extra noise.
A custom exhaust will give you more options, but if you go that route, might as well have a custom turboback unit put together.

Re: (m3nt0s)

if the stock exhaust is going bad, i wouldn't spend the money for the resonator delete.
I also have an EST system on my car and it sounds great. Good price as well, and the shipping to you shouldn't be bad at all.
http://www.eurosporttuning.ca/...60-en

IMO you can get a custom 3inch catback and you would be fine I didnt spend more than 380 bucks and its all custom MagnaFlow pack and tip.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P03c_bQfLks
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNA5eEqbD98
What ever exhaust you do get, you need one of these to go with it:
http://forums.swedespeed.com/zerothread?id=123549

If you do a DP you will should get the stage 1 tune upgraded to stage 2 which will be a added cost, your most affordable option will probably be to have one made at a reputable exhaust shop the easiest will probably be the EST exhuast.Depending on how bad yours is EST usually runs a exhuast sale once or twice a year.

Custom is the way to go on these cars. Find yourself a nice shop and do it up in SS, pick your own muffler/resonator.. cheaper than anything else out there.
