The 02 T5 does have a pre-wiring for the car. The safest bet is to buy the factory cd changer but it's 1000 bucks!

Should I tell my dealer that I want to have the stock unit prepared (software downloaded) for a cd-changer and also I want to purchase the changer from them. If I look at the specs for the 2002 T5 it says that one of the standard options is "Pre-Wiring for Multi CD Changer"
