I have an S60. Recently, I had the windshield replaced by a local glass shop. After washing the car today, I tested the rain sensor by spraying the car with water. To my dismay, the wipers did not work as expected. The behave like regular intermittent wipers. What troubleshooting steps should I take to resolve this? The windshield is an aftermarket PGW unit.

EDIT: I noticed that the sensor wasn't fully plugged in. I plugged it in and after restarting the car, the rain sensor worked as expected. Hopefully this helps others. It seems to me that the brand of windshield doesn't matter as much as proper installation of the rain sensor.

I'm slightly terrified of this, I fixed a decent chip myself since insurance wanted to replace the whole windshield (and I've never had a good experience with that process...).
Good to know it was an easy fix though
