Has anyone added fog lights to an S60 that came from the factory without them? I was wondering if the wiring is already there and if it was just a matter of getting the switch and lights and hooking them up, OR is there more to it?
Thanks

You need to have the computer programmed to tell it the lights are there. Requires a trip to the Stealership.
Won't work with just the hardware alone.

Wiring is all there.
All you need is the kit and the aforementioned trip to the dealer

That is a rip-off. Never known a car that can't figure out that it has foglights or not. Why not put in a switch for them? If the wiring is already there what is the problem? I'd think the computer is smart to realize that if the circuit is completed with a light bulb in place, it'd send power to it.

My Thoughts exactly!
Has to be a pretty dumb computer not to figure there's power.

If you don't want used parts, there are several other sources on the internet including some dealers.
