So how are you liking the FMIC in the summer heat down there? Can you feel the difference and lack of heat soak?
The rims have a bit too flat of a finish. A semi-gloss would look more appropriate.
Other than that minor tweak I like everything else. If you agree and would consider painting the rims with a different finish it might be a good idea to also paint the FMIC. That's all a matter of opinion.
Your sun-weathered trim looks exactly like mine. Gotta love South Florida!

i like the look of the rims , paint the trim to match the rims and maybe it will tie things together nicely - or not.

I like the flat ones. I do like the low gloss best.

Re: (xman03)

Flat black wheels on anything but a rat rod look out of place, IMO. Either it takes away from the cars glossy paint or makes the rims look permanently dirty, as already mentioned. That being said, you did a nice job on it, and the rest of the pieces.
Your friend didn't want to get out of the car before you took the pics?

It doesn't really matter what any of us think. It's his car. As long as he likes it that's what makes the world go around, right?
FWIW, I don't generally like black Pegs on TiGrey but I actually think that the flat black looks better than the high gloss in this application. I'm not sure what it is, but something about black pegs (regardless of finish) makes the TiGrey look...dusty? They do, however, look great on the BS cars (as in the pic of the BS R @ Carlisle).
Just my $.02,
-Eric

Did you have the phmic installed in Tampa or WPB? If in Tampa, what shop?

IMHO I like the flat black, it looks sick!! If it's shiny, its to blingy (is that a word??) and when it's flat it looks much harder...nice job!
