Hi guys,
I have a 2007 3.2 AWD that I purchased a few months ago. It had a strong vibration on acceleration when I first bought it, and the dealer swapped out the upper torque rod (http://www.ipdusa.com/products/10233/121619-upper-engine-torque-mount-xc90-6-cylinder-non-turbo). That fixed a lot of it, but there was still some vibration there.

I've since changed out the transmission torque mount (http://www.ipdusa.com/products/9809/121180-transmission-torque-mount-xc90-6-cylinder-non-turbo) and the lower engine torque rod (http://www.ipdusa.com/products/10579/124101-lower-engine-torque-rod-xc90-6-cylinder-non-turbo).

That's eliminated about 90% of the vibration, but I'd still like to root out that last 10%.

Does anyone have any idea what else could be causing it and in need of replacement? The vibration is primarily heard/felt on acceleration.

Any thoughts?

There was a technical bulletin for 07 and 08 front axles. I had the vibration when I first got mine, had the axles swapped and all has been good for about 95k miles.

Agree, front drive axles are a likely culprit. My '07 V8 is similar--I've got it down to that last 10%, which is sufficient not to bother me.
