Hi everybody I'm New in this forum (and new in USA) and about to buy 2007 S60 R automatic.
100,XXX Miles.
I need some finance, this is the reason for going to dealership.
I'm from North Jersey (Bergen County)
I need some Help with understanding that this is a good car, how to check it properly, how to make a correct diagnostic,
and if someone have the Diagnostic tools, and know how to check it properly I will appreciate and can pay $ for helping to check the car (it's still with the dealer)
I'm getting 1 month/ 1000 miles warranty for the engine and the gear box.
Thank you in Advance for any help.
Tigran.

Thank you for responding,
It's not a Volvo Dealer, I don't want to make ads here, but i can write you in privet message.
Its located in Newark. and I have the VOLVO Service of "Kundert Volvo Of Hasbrouck Heights" Right near my home.

Yes, this is the car.
I Paid deposit, have to take it soon.
There is a small oil leak, so he have to check and fix it.
I hope it's not something serious.

Why not have an independent Volvo mechanic give it a complete inspection?

I'm new in the US, so I don't know how it works here.
Where can I find an independent Volvo Mechanic? And how it works - I have to ask him come to the Dealership or i Can take the car to him, if I didn't actually bought it yet?
Sorry if it's sounds like stupid questions, but I really don't know how it works.
Thanks.

If it's an oil leak make sure the breather box isn't clogged usually when they get clogged they pop the cam seals and that's a big job to get it fixed.

You are probably looking at a timing belt on this one just given miles and age - have your PPI check for a sticker.
