This is still so odd that every other country in the world is getting 3.6.4 but it appears as though it's been pulled from OTA in the US. I wonder why.

 

Re: 3G instead of LTE. Same for me today in Utrecht and Zuid-Holland, and I have not received the 3.6.4 update yet. So my guess is that is not related to the update, but is somehow caused by the network carrier used by Volvo in the Netherlands.

 

My suspicion is it's b/c of the "camera not available" recall. I speculate that we all have to go get that workshop update before any OTA updates push to us. But again just speculating.
I still have not gotten the last 2 OTA updates and I do have the camera recall workshop update pending.

I installed 3.6.4 (from 3.4.4) using VIDA today on my 23 V60 T8. Took about 20 mins over cable. Overall the system seems very stable so far, and though I wouldn't call it "snappy", it's been pretty smooth. Performed an IHU and TCAM reboot after the install as I usually do, for good measure.

-The infotainment reboot is noticeably a little quicker than usual.
-The iTPMS system recalibrated itself.
-No uncommanded ICE firing up. This only happened to me once after an older update.
-No temporary SRS fault as I've seen some people have. No faults at all.

I had the recall update performed yesterday. System updated to 3.6.4. With that came the split screen in reverse showing the 360 degree view as well as the rear view camera view. So far not a fan. I would rather have the rear view only in reverse. Any way to change this back? I figure no as there is no way to do this in the settings. Guess I will just have to get used to it

@Turbovagn drove all the way from California to Vancouver, BC Canada just to update my car from 3.3.16 to 3.6.4. Whatever magic trick he's used worked out great. I got split view 360 in reverse on my MY2004 that's very early May 2023 build.

 

Mine is a my22 model and while I’m on 3.6.4, I don’t see the Split View. Weird. Asking my local dealer to check

I cant keep up with all those revisions. There's so many different (botched) revisions of the software it's just a total mess.

@BlkT5 with XC60PE and V60PE is on Vancouver Island, maybe you might get a chance to meet him too.

 

Model year 24 S60, no dual view - I guess it’s manufactured early 23.
Bonus: interior lights don’t turn on anymore when i stop the engine, and the lights button is also dead at that moment. They only come on when I open the door.

 

Mine is MY 24 S60 built in August. It got the dual view with 3.5.24

Got my car updated 2 weeks ago at the dealer with 3.6.4 due to the camera unavailable issue. It's been great until yesterday when the camera did not work when I went into reverse. I did a reboot and it started working.

This car (2024 S60 T8) has been a major disappointment in terms of the software issues. If this persists I will see what I can do to get out of the lease. Every time the backup camera doesn't work Volvo and I are breaking US federal law. And, it's dangerous.

 

Ever since I got my update I have been having issued with the driver seat module. I have my seat set to memory 1. I also have an exit position in memory 2. When I exit the car I press number 2 to exit and press number 1 when I enter. Since the update sometimes when I am exiting and I press number 2 nothing happens and I have to turn the key back on for it to react. Also sometimes when I open the door the seat will start moving to position 1 on its own. Hopefully the next update will remedy this issue

Mine was updated at the dealership 10 days ago when I had it serviced. Before that, it was on 3.3.16, and I haven't noticed any changes; everything's still the same.

 

I got updated few days ago. I’m not sure if it’s placebo or what but the default comfort mode drives more similar like the polestar mode now for my b5 v60 cc. The pedal seems more sensitive for me now compared to before the update. So much so that I don’t really use polestar for me anymore.

Is the smart battery management with Google Maps working for you? It works for a few seconds and then stops, both on long and short trips.

If this is of interest to anyone, i asked for the recall update and they installed 3.7 today. No observations yet other than the expected split screen view.

 

I had the same thing done about a week ago. V 3.7 has been great so far. The infotainment system has been glitch-free and braking action seems more responsive. I’m also happy to see the camera view upgrades and the ETA widget back.

 

Do you have the internal Light issue (when switching off the car, the internal lights often do not turn on)? Thank you

 

Apart from the interior lights issue, now my internet stopped working. I have the 3rd icon (The car has a connection to the mobile network but the internet connection is limited).
Resetting the display does not fix it and holding the defrost button does nothing (SOS never blinks).
What is even worse is that the GPS acts crazy when using any direction app via Carplay (it keeps teleporting me, I guess the car GPS sometimes takes over and sends wrong locations).
It’s been like this for two days, I’m going in a vacation so the car will probably go into hibernate mode, hopefully it works again when I am back.
Anyway, first and last Volvo for me, the software is just way too disappointing.

 

Where are you located? Quite recently there was a massive problem m in Europe with Odido (T-Mobile). The internet connection of Volvo seems to run on Odido.

 

In addition to already reported interior light issues, I have an occasional issue with boot light which sometimes does not turn on when I open the rear door. I have to close it and open again, then the boot light is active. Happens both when I open the boot first before starting the car or after a trip, and both on 3.5.14 and 3.6.4. A minor thing, but a bit annoying as the garage in our building is rather dark.

 

not sure if you all face this issue - radio turn on and off every now and then. no, i don't even need to touch anything...

 

Has no one experienced problems with the driver’s seat memory linked to the key? I’ve had to manually reset the seat to my saved position several times after my wife used her key (she had the same issue with hers).

Now, I know version 3.7.0 is already out, but I’ve seen a lot of reports about the PiP 360 camera view disappearing. I haven’t received the 3.7.0 OTA update message on my display yet anyway, so I’ll have to wait a bit longer.

I don’t have that issue. It’s my wife’s seat position that doesn’t return to mine and vice versa (linked to the key).

 

JeeBee I have an issue with the seat memory. I have my number 1 set to my driving position. The number 2 is set to an exit position. More than half the time when I turn the car off and open the door the seat memory buttons become inactive. So I have to turn the car on again to hit number 2 to exit. I do not use my second key so not sure if my car would act the same as yours. So there definitely is an issue with the car keeping the seat memory module active when the door is opened. This only started after the dealer downloaded the 3.6.4 for a recall notice. I have since OTA'd the 3.7 and the same issue persists

Oh man, it’s always such a “joy” to read about new issues before you even get the chance to upgrade yourself. Volvo really needs to start delivering better quality... every update comes with problems, it’s just so bad!
