Hi Gang,
Well, the national meet in K.C. was a great success. We've worked a year to put it together, and the team did an outstanding job. We had over 120 cars including the 1927 Jakob, the 444 that Colin Powell formerly owned, and a very rare P1900,
The weather was fab, the cars were terrific, and everyone had a fun time. I'm so pleased that my town, Parkville, was the host for it, and that even the 'east coast' crowd thought it was a great meet!
Dan Johnston with Volvo did a fantastic job showing the 'Volvo for Llife' tape and had a most interesting discussion as to the future relationship between Ford and Volvo. Unfortunately part of the C 70 CD didn't work quite right, but it looks pretty good!
Thanks to everyone who came, and I hope you had a great time. I'd love to hear from anyone who came to K.C. and attended the event. No definate plans for a location for next year, but I hope a club chooses to take on the challenge!
Cheers,
Mike (Newie) Newburger
[email protected]
