So I left my R parked outside in the rain yesterday. What a mistake that was.
The moment I turn my car on, I got the oh so familiar message "CHASSIS SETTINGS SERVICE REQUIRED" for which the dealer has given me a plethora of remedies in the past, from reattaching a loose connector to a new strut. Wonder how much that one is going to be...
After just a few minutes of driving, I noticed that my arm was getting wet. I look up and see that my driver's side A Pillar is SOAKED with water. I can only guess what water seal is broken/cracked/punctured/etc. and is leaking water into my car.
So I'll be stopping by the dealership tomorrow...is there anything else I should know before saying "I have a leak near my A Pillar and I'm getting another 4C error message"? How worried should I be about mold and such other problems from moisture soaking in the fabric in my car?

Re: A leak and a message (m3nt0s)

For the leak, its likely your sunroof drains are clogged. They can clog up in the sunroof frame, easy to see when sunroof is open. The drains are up near the front corners and can be cleaned easily.
More likely its the flapper type valve in the sunroof drain thats clogged. There was an old TNN to modify the rubber valve to allow it to drain and not clog.
To fix that one, just remove the A-pillar covers and where the clear drain hose attaches to the metal part of the A-pillar near the dash, remove the black rubber fitting/valave and using a pair of side cutter modify the flapper by cutting a notch in it.
Both of those should be checked to fix the leak. Just pore some water down through the sunroof drain to check for proper drainage once cleaned. Water should come out on the ground nearly directly below the A-pillar under the car behind the wheels.
As for the Suspension, good luck with your dealer.

If you have a water leak and this message my guess is that the SUM got wet. It's by the driver's knee in the center console.
Try locating it and drying it off.
I would pull the carpet and check the drains.
