...pretty good read from a fast ford mag. Thought I share it. Pretty convenient as I'm trying to put together an ideal recipe for 300hp. Looks like they place heavy emphasis on exhaust & intercoolers mods for the biggest gains on these engines. I'm not a huge believer in changing out the whole intake on our cars for the ECM placed in the open bay thing
so I'm leaving towards reflash, down pipe, intercooler to see what I can do(only need the IC now) + the stock set-up is more than capable of getting you to 300hp I believe.
Honestly, I run an open ECU in the bay of my Supercharged Ion Redline(from the factory) & that is is FACT one of the hottest engine bays ever w/the "HEATON" M62 supercharger and I've never had it fail but I will say, these engine bays get pretty damn hot.
