I am new to the forum. i just got my s 60r last week and i found you guys online. everything is so helpful thanks. i did do some searching but i couldnt find any answers to my questions. <br>1.) is it possible to put angel eyes/ halos on an r?<br>2.) has anyone ever hydro locked their r with the "r" kelly intake?<br> thanks for the help

You can put angel eyes in anything. It just takes some customization and willingness to crack open your headlights.<br>2. I really doubt it. You would lose suction in that hose immediately, and it would just pore out into the intake. Unless you submerge your car up to the filter, you should be fine.

Pics of new R or we dont believe you <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/tongue.gif" BORDER="0"><p>Congrats on the purchase!<p>Not to be an ass but angel eyes belong on BMW's.... I had enough of seeing that mess in the import turner world. It feels good to get away from that! <br>

I drove through near friggen flood with mine and no issues afterwards.<br>As was said, remove the exhaust bracket (upside down hoop) ASAP, it can cause major damage if hit and it does nothing.<br>BTW, Kelly/IPD intake with no other engine mods will do nothing, a waste of money unless the R is tuned

so it wont get hydro- locked eventhough its straight into the engine airbox? my friends car got hydrolocked during a huge rain storm. also has anyone else done angel eyes for their volvos that you know of?

Most people at least have a tune.<br>A CAI with nothing else (NO OTHER MODS) on <B>ANY </B>car doesn't do much of anything, except make noise and this one really doesn't make much of that!

Therefore hydrolocking would only occur if the water line is above the hood which would be one hell of a flood and you shouldn't be on the road..
