So, I just got my R bumper back from the body shop, and they did a great job. I know that i'm missing the fog light grilles and lights, but those will be in the future. Still waiting for the intercooler piping kit to come in the mail.
The gauge pod didn't come out as well as I wanted it to. I'm still working to get it to fit in the dash better, as you can see there is a little bit where it comes out a bit. Other than that, the car needs to be washed, and It will look much better when done. I have forever black coming in the mail, so the moldings dont look so bad.
Oh, btw, the R emblem is going to come off soon. Maybe i'll switch it for a T5 badge.

Re: A Few Improvements (cmurphy2266)

Are you going to put a S60 bodt kit on as well or just leave as is?

These were also really bad pictures from my cell phone, it looks much better in person. I am not getting the lower side trim paint. Also, the gauge pod came out really bad because I wasn't patient. I'm going to have another go at it, and it will hopefully turn out much better.

Looks like your missing the proper 'R' bumper clips under the headlamps, I see them sagging
How come you didn't put the wipers back on? Don't like it with the empty spaces.
Overall the front end look is better than the 01-04 S60 bumper you originally had.

I'm working on getting everything together. I've had the wipers off for a while, and I just kept them off.

What exactly did the body shop do? The bumper itself is easy enough to put on yourself and it doesn't look different than any other R bumper I have seen. It's not even finished, parts missing and what not.
You could've had them fill the holes for the wipers or you could get those plugs to cover up the holes but your still gonna need to have the plugs sanded and painted.
I do like the look of the bumper though, gives it a more sporty look.

It was off an '05 R, so they also textured the rub strips.

Looks good,
Looks like the rub strips are pretty dark on the bumper compared to the rest of your car, is it just because of the picture?
You going to get R headlights also?
Can I ask how much you got the bumper for and where?
Chris
PS switch to the T5 Badge, Paint it like the grill

Did the headlight wipers not fit the R shell?
