At work today someone told me that she sold a car yesterday. Her father, who is now deceased bought it new. She was thrilled to get $1000. Why am I posting this? Because it was a 1964 Volvo! She had no clue whether it was a 122, 544 or a P1800. Her description leads me to believe it was a 544 but that's very uncertain. I have no idea whether it was a nice, garaged, orginal or a rust bucket that had been sitting under a pine tree for ten years. But South Carolina does tend to be kind to metal. She said that it ran but needed brakes and paint. I have seen her at work for two years and never once did she mention having this car! So close yet so far!It does show that they are still out there waiting for us to find them.
