The air in my wive's 2002 S60 is acting up. Always on the hottest days, if we stop at redlight or stopped in heavy traffic, it will stop blowing cold. Once we start going again, it will eventually kick back on. :confused:Any ideas as to the cause, is it low freon, or is it a sign the compressor about done? Any help from the Volvo gurus is appreciated:)

another thing is your ac clutch could be worn. The clutch is engaged by a magnet and when it gets hot (like stoping at red lights) it may be to weak to hold in and engage the clutch. This is what happens on my gf's 05 s40. a simle fix is to take some bread clips and shim the clutch in closer making sure it does not shim it into contact.
