Do what? Dream car say what??
I know you have a Fred winner, but you were willing to kill ppl over a Laser (well, maybe not that drastic).
LOL, you coming from Latvia for this one?

OP, where were you last fall?!? :D

It looks like you’ve taken care of this one. I’m sure you’ll have much interest.

GLWTS!

Somehow between last night at 7 when I was "nah, holding out for an '00" and now it has progressed to me emailing dude for more info, notifying my wife, and weighing how long I can park this in a guest spot before my HOA fines me.
Though to be fair last night I was mid interior teardown of my C30 thanks to sunroof drain tubes popping out before a monsoon, so I wasn't in a car-happy mood :D

Is a clean '99 a better deal than a clapped out '00 (when it's across the country *and* I have nowhere to work on it at home)? Hmmmmmm

I'm still trying to convince myself to hold out for the '00 unicorn, but for those interested in this one...from the seller:

The car came from CA in 2010 and Yes it’s been parked mostly in our garage. Yes accident free car and nonsmoking owners. The cat back exhaust system is the original by Volvo and is rust free . Also there is no rust on the car. Cars do not rust very easy in the Denver dry climate if you take care of the car. The sound system is original by Volvo with the dash speaker. The exterior is very good for a -99 car but not perfect, no rust and the paint is good. The clear coat on the top right top corner of the rear spoiler is a problem spot that could be fixed and the paint on the rear hatch handle is also a problem spot. The heater core was replaced about 3 years ago. The dash has been removed one time and remounted. I can take better pictures of a specific item and area if need for anyone that is interested.
The car is in good condition and everything works. I have replaced many parts very recently and have all papers from 2010 to back it up.

Radio and A/C works fine. The car would drive from Denver to California back to Denver without any problems as I have maintained the car extremely well for almost 10 years. The car needs nothing.

The turbo and manifold is from a -05 V70R and the engine has a newer and larger downpipe and needs a Hilton tune to run perfect the engine runs strong and my wife has been driving the car for 9-10 years ( the car have not been abused the Turbo boost is only set to about 13-15 LBS )

https://hiltontuning.com/product/1999-2000-s70v70-1999-2005-c70-me7-p80/

Bigger downpipe

Never engine 100K ( I did not feel like paying twice to replace the head a 2nd time ) done at 205K about 20K miles ago

Never Transmission ( Volvo New at 142K ) paid about $6000-$7000 and I have replaced the oil in the tranny 3-4 times

New brake pads

Newer struts and shock, front and rear.

Newer drive shaft

AWD system have been serviced I the past. No oil leaks or problems at all.

Windshield is okay no cracks ( Volvo brand )

Oil change every 5000K Full synthetic oil

IPD sway bars and strut brace

The interior is close to perfect for a -99, the driver has some wear on the bolster and left side leather.

The dash has no cracks .

Radio and A/C works fine

Steering is fine with no leaks.

Nokian all season tires at about 50 %

All locks actuators have been replaced about 4 years ago.

19 MPG in town

A clean Colorado Title

I have over $1300 the wheels and they are still in the box / plastic wrapping so they are not used (sell for $1000 with car )

I will work on the pictures later today. Call me if you have any questions.
This '99 seems about as well-maintained as I've seen. I'm hoping I can score the '00 from Mark but if not I'm super tempted to break my policy of holding out. I'm heading to Denver at the end of the month if it hasn't sold by then and Kenneth's amenable to me doing an inspection for any interested buyers.

When it rains, it pours.

Look at it this way, if you aren't planning on manual swapping 99 > 00 in terms of transmissions.

YOUR LOGIC HAS NO PLACE HERE :p

Yeah but for real, if Mark hadn't reached out when he did with his swapped '00 I'd probably have already sent money to Kenneth here. I'm creepily obsessed with LB Rs and you just don't see them for sale having been maintained like this.
I'm still not counting myself out of the running, if Mark disappears and this one's still available (doubtful x2), I'm driving it home from Denver in 3 weeks.

I think it's more that stock for stock, the 99 transmission is far more reliable

Aw42 awd is practically indestructible. Volvo did well with that one.

That is the 4 speed Auto with lockup and awd used in 1999 R and XC (loads of spares if ever needed).
