hi i have a black 940 turbo sedan which needs its a/c recharged. it had R 134A so its all up to date, i was wondering how would i recharge the A/C in this car?

Hello again, Will.

Do you still have the '93 945?

It appears that your '94 944 came from the factory with R134a so the recharge would be the same as on any B230 with factory R134a.

Going through the links below I am finding the best advice is to have the system evacuated (vacuum/suction) and the refrigerant captured and weighed for re-use. This removes the moisture, checks for leaks and returns exactly the correct amount of R134a to the system which is sensitive to over/under filling.

Some folks get lucky when they add a jug of R134a and the system cools just fine. Others, well read for yourself...
