Yeah, I'm really pushing my '04 R to its limits. ~22,300 miles on it and picked it up in Gothenburg with 1 (!!!) mile on the odometer.
I can't believe I don't drive this thing more than I do.
- Tryg

I have a buddy who bought one from me who just hit 90k... It is an '04 V70R, also picked up pretty early in the cycle....
He drives the absolute [email protected] out of his car and has never had to do anything but scheduled maintenance, brakes, and a battery....
Lucky bastard...

Phew, just passed 38K miles on mine which is approaching 3yrs old. Probably will reach 40K by the 3rd anniversary.

Not to Hijack, but I'm curious how the cars have done outside of warranty period. Have you guys experienced any costly service/repair bills after, say, 50k?

The darn things can really start to fall apart. My 1986 740 was driven to 250k, but in hindsight, I know that wasn't a smart thing to do based on ruinous depreciation and expensive repairs. Up until the purchase of my new 06 V70R, my m.o. was to get a 2-3 year old car with 20k-30k miles on it, drive it a few years and sell it. No real repair issues and minimal depreciation in most cases. To bad I had to have Sonic Blue with Atacama so bad it clouded my logic
Jim

Most people will try to sell cars at 98-99K miles. JRL appears to only sell cars with under 100K it seems.
