My 740 needs a huge blast of ether to start...sometimes. Sometimes it does not. Sometimes even that won't get it up and running. I have replaced the in tank fuel pump, the high pressure pump and the filter.<br>There is fuel to the rail. We swapped out the ECU with one that we know is good. I am at a loss as far as what I do next. The 1988 740 has no cold start valve or I would have swapped that out by now also. It does not matter if the engine is hot or cold, it just won't start without the ether most of the time. Any ideas from anyone out there would be greatly appreciated.
